Acceptance will be communicated by April 30. Within 10 days from acceptance, the author confirms his/her participation. Confirmation is mandatory. The full paper must be submitted by July 31, 2023.

Scholars involved in the topic – especially, but not exclusively, young researchers (within 5 years from PhD completion) from the Circle-U Alliance partners universities (https://www.circle-u.eu) – are invited to submit original proposals concerning Gender and Constitutional Transformation, as well as Constitutional Degradation and Gender backlash. The phenomenon of constitutional degradation appears to have a strong connection with gender degradation through discriminations: we must face this process, contributing to the debate on democratization and the challenges to the rule of law. Also, a focus on Populisms and (old and new) political ideologies is deemed crucial in detecting the crisis of the rule of law and fundamental rights’retrogressions.
